Free vocational training — skills for a livelihood
A skill that earns you an income is worth every bit as much as a degree. For some girls and women, a trade is the surer, faster road to standing on your own feet — and we treat that road as an equal one, not a lesser one. If college is not your path, this might be exactly yours.
Our programmes
Eight pathway for every need
The Vedicology Foundation funds free vocational training so you can learn a skill and earn a living of your own. We pay your full course fees straight to the training centre, and we cover your tools, materials, certification fees, and travel too. There is no marks requirement at all. What matters is that you are genuinely interested and that you will see the course through. It is open to the girls we support and to destitute women across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Below are the kinds of courses we fund, and how to begin.

What we cover
For a vocational course, the Foundation covers:
- Full course fees — paid directly to the training institution
- Tools, uniforms, or materials your course requires
- Certification examination fees
- Travel to your training centre, where that applies
The course fees go straight to the training institution — never as cash to you or your family.
Do I need a minimum mark?
No. Vocational training has no academic marks requirement of any kind. We do not look at your Class 10 or Class 12 percentage here. What we look for is real interest in the skill and the commitment to finish the course — and that you fit one of the situations we support.

Who it is for
Vocational training is open to the widest group of any of our programmes. It is for:
The girls we support
A full orphan; a girl whose father has passed away; a girl whose father left, or is alive but unable to provide; a girl who has lost the support of both parents; or a girl whose mother cannot earn because of serious illness or disability.
Destitute women
A woman who has been widowed, left by her husband, or separated, and is rebuilding her life on her own.

Hospitality and catering
food and beverage, housekeeping, front office
Digital and computer skills
data entry, digital marketing, content creation, basic programming
Tailoring and fashion design
with a pathway to working for yourself

pre-school teaching, creche management

sales, basic accounting, Tally
