How it works

A partnership that works for everyone

When your college partners with Vedicology Foundation, a registered non-profit pays your deserving students' fees directly into your fee account. It costs your institution nothing.

We handle the assessment, the checks, and the student liaison. You receive a reliable third-party payment, on schedule, on the student's behalf. Your institution keeps students who might otherwise have dropped out. It gains clear evidence of access and equity for accreditation. And it earns lasting goodwill in your community — all at no cost.

Most colleges have students who are quietly struggling to stay enrolled. A sudden loss in the family. A parent who can no longer work. A crisis that drains resources mid-year. These are often your most capable students — young women whose futures turn on whether they can stay in your classrooms. A partnership with Vedicology Foundation is a practical, transparent way to keep them there, while protecting your own fee revenue.

We support adolescent girls and women aged 18 and above. We do not fund minors.

Why partner

Eight benefits for your institution

A partnership is not a one-way act of charity. It is a genuine, practical win — financially, reputationally, and in the goodwill it builds.

01Benefit 01

Assured, predictable fee recovery

Many of the most deserving students are also the ones most likely to fall into fee arrears through no fault of their own. When we step in to support such a student, your institution receives a verified third-party payment directly into its fee account. You are no longer chasing a family already in difficulty for dues; a credible organisation pays on the student's behalf, on schedule.

02Benefit 02

Protected revenue across the full programme

A student who would otherwise have dropped out in her first or second year now completes her degree. Your institution retains her fees across every remaining year of the programme — not just the year of crisis. Reducing dropout among meritorious students directly protects multi-year revenue that would otherwise be lost.

03Benefit 03

Zero cost, zero commission, zero administrative burden

Partnership costs your institution nothing. There is no fee or commission of any kind, no special fund to set up, and no change to your existing fee-collection process. Payments arrive by NEFT or RTGS straight into your account or through your fee portal. The Foundation carries out the assessment, verification, and student liaison.

04Benefit 04

Strong evidence for accreditation and rankings

Student support, equity, inclusion, and financial-aid mechanisms are scored criteria under NAAC and contribute to your NIRF profile. A documented partnership with a registered Foundation that funds meritorious students from disadvantaged backgrounds is concrete, reportable evidence of your commitment to access and equity — useful in accreditation, AISHE returns, and your own quality reporting.

05Benefit 05

A credible social-impact and gender-equity story

Supporting girls and young women through education is an authentic narrative for your annual report, prospectus, website, and outreach. It demonstrates a real contribution to gender equity and to national goals on quality education — the kind of story that resonates with parents, alumni, donors, and accreditation bodies alike.

06Benefit 06

Goodwill, reputation, and an admissions edge

Students and families remember the institutions that helped them in difficult times, and they speak about it. Being known as a college that partners to keep deserving young women in education builds lasting goodwill and word-of-mouth — a real differentiator in admissions, and a source of pride for your faculty and staff.

07Benefit 07

Diversity without diluting merit

Every scholarship recipient is selected on exceptional merit — a high entry bar and consistent academic performance. Supporting them enriches the diversity and character of your student body while raising, not lowering, its academic standard.

08Benefit 08

Lasting alumni loyalty

A student whose education your institution helped protect rarely forgets it. These are the alumni who stay connected, who speak well of their college for a lifetime, and who give back to the next generation.

Behind every benefit is a young woman who gets to finish her education and change her life.

In practice

How the partnership works

The relationship is straightforward and asks very little of you.

A student from your institution approaches us for support. We review her application, verify her eligibility, and our Scholarship Committee makes the decision. If she is selected, we email your accounts or administration office a formal Letter of Intent, request your current fee structure and payment details, and transfer the scholarship amount directly to your institution. At each new semester, we confirm enrolment and fees before the next payment.

See exactly how direct fee payment works — the Letter of Intent, the transfer, and the per-semester renewal.

What partnership does not require of you

  • You do not set up a special fund.
  • You do not change your fee-collection process.
  • You do not pay any fee or commission.
  • We do not interfere in your academic processes in any way.

Celebrate

Your scholars, your pride

Every student we support earns her scholarship on exceptional merit. A Vedicology Foundation scholarship is an achievement to be proud of.

You are warmly welcome to name and congratulate your scholars in newsletters and at college functions, feature the partnership in your prospectus and annual report, and credit the Foundation in your communication.

When we share a scholar's achievement in our own donor reports, it is always with the student's happy agreement, coordinated through your nominated contact.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about partnering with us

01Does partnering cost our institution anything?+
No. There is no fee, no commission, and no special fund to set up. Payments arrive by NEFT, RTGS, or your fee portal, straight into your existing fee account. The partnership is entirely at no cost to your institution.
02Where does the money go — to the student or to us?+
Directly to your institution, into your fee account, on the student's behalf. Vedicology Foundation does not give cash to students or families. Full mechanics are on the How Direct Fee Payment Works page.
03How much of a student's fees do you cover?+
Most scholarships cover a partial share of fees — typically between 50% and 75% — so that the student, her family, and the institution all stay invested in her success. One programme is different: a girl leaving a registered children's home with no family is supported in full. See the Care Leaver Scholarship for that single exception.
04Which students are eligible?+
Meritorious girls and young women aged 18 and above from genuinely disadvantaged family circumstances, studying in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Selection is on a high entry bar and consistent academic performance — diversity without diluting merit.
05How do we refer students to you?+
Through a consolidated list from across your departments, coordinated by your single point of contact. The full method is on the Refer a Student page.
06Is there any fee to register as a partner?+
No. The Vedicology Foundation never charges any fee — no application fee, no processing fee, nothing — at any stage. If anyone ever asks you for money in our name, please report it to .
