Need books, a tablet or smartphone, or internet data for your course? We can cover it
Our programmes
Eight pathways for every need
If you study in a recognised programme at a government institution, scored 90% or above in Class 12, and genuinely need the help, Vedicology Foundation pays for your textbooks, reference books and stationery, a tablet or smartphone for courses that need digital access, and internet data support. Government-aided institutions are not included. PG students also need 80% or above in UG, and if you are past your first year, your marks so far count too. We support girls and women aged 18 and above, across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. We do not fund minors.
Government institutions usually charge little or no fee. But books still cost money, and your course may need online work. Our Merit Scholarship pays fees; it does not include books or devices. That is why this support exists — so that something as ordinary as a missing textbook, a device or a data pack never decides whether you can keep up with your course.

What this support covers
This support pays for the things your fees do not cover, but your studies still need:
A tablet or smartphone
for courses that need digital access.
Textbooks, reference books and stationery
the books and materials your course asks of you, even when your fees are low.
Internet data support
so that online work for your course is never out of reach.
We do not give cash. The money never passes through your hands — it goes exactly where it should go: to your education.
What marks do I need?
Marks apply, and they are counted up to the day you apply.
- UG student: 90% or above in Class 12. If you are past your first year, also 80% or above in your UG so far.
- PG student: 90% or above in Class 12 and 80% or above in your UG. If you are past your first year of PG, also 75% or above in your PG so far.
For example: a third-year UG student needs 90% or above in Class 12 and 80% or above across the UG semesters completed so far. A first-year PG student needs 90% or above in Class 12 and 80% or above in her UG — there are no PG marks to count yet.
A few marks short? Apply anyway and explain. Our Scholarship Committee reviews each case with understanding, not just numbers. You can see how marks work across all our programmes on our Marks Eligibility page.

Who this is for
This support is for students of government institutions only. Government-aided institutions are not included. You need to be enrolled in a recognised programme, genuinely need the support, and meet the marks above for your level of study — UG or PG. Vedicology Foundation funds education across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and this support sits alongside everything else we do.
Whether you have lost one or both parents, or your family can no longer support your studies, your circumstances are understood during your application. Your marks and your need are both part of how we decide.
You can combine it with other support
You do not have to choose. A student at a government institution can receive Exam Fee Support and Study Material and Device Support together. And remember: the Merit Scholarship pays fees, not books or devices — that is exactly the gap this support is here to close.
If you are not sure which support fits your situation, that is what we are here for. Tell us where you are stuck, and we will help you find the right one. You can start with our All Programmes page to see everything in one place, or simply reach out.
